Staff Roll (end credits)

Unread postby PlayingTarot » Thu Mar 12, 2015 1:20 pm

Hi, what is the best way of creating a translated staff roll, that would be rolling right near the original one with the same speed?
Though right now I'm considering whether to make the translated titles rolling, or just appearing somewhere at the screen with fading, if making the roll turns out to be too complicated...

Should be easy:
Code: Select all
{\move(0,720,0,-9001)}line1\Nline2\Nline3\N.......................\Nline100

1. set the subtitle line duration so that it starts just when the first line appears and ends when the last line disappears
2. adjust the numbers until the speeds match

Thanks, toph, I was also considering putting all the lines together. Wonder if it will look good though, because there's not so much space for the translated roll, but... we'll see.
upd Just made the credits this way, works great ;)
