help with karaoke color changing

Unread postby ChangeCrystal » Tue Jan 24, 2017 11:24 am

I'm trying to make a kara effect that change from one color to another during the kara, but I can't seem to get the result I want.
If I use the template pyointa2001 made in this topic : Help with trans changing color (asked by NoB)

It will not change the color while karaoke is running like the picture (since the gif size over 500KB, I attach it to attachment).

Here's my sample karaoke script (I removed the template pyointa2001 made since it only work for trans not kara).
I don't own the effect because I copy it from another effect and change it a little.
In the script, I marked the color that I want to change by inserting the tags to the karaoke line.

I'll appriciate it if someone would help me.

\1vc is not a standard tag. change it to \1c tag.
if you want to use \1vc, install vsfiltermod to aegi''s scri folder.

I only use the \1vc tag at the love shape template line. On the template syl, I didn't use it. If I changed the \1vc on the shape template line to \1c, it didn't affect the line color with the \t tag I put in the line.

I want to ask :
1. In creating these "color changing" kara, do we need to create a new template line every different color change?

2. Can we make a template that reads the lines tag, example :
I insert {\t(450,452),\c&HFF00FF&)} at the first karaoke line, the template will read the tags and change the whole line color according to the \t tag I put at the line.

If it's possible to make a template that reads the lines tag and change it to the whole line, how to make such template?
Using "keeptags' at the templates won't do the color change we put since it will only change the first syllable, not the whole line.

Because I've seen several animes by some fansub, there's so many color changing on the kara, and I want to use it on Frozen film at the last song "Let it Go by Demi Lovato" I'm currently translating.

I'm not good at lua or kara programming. I really appriciate if someone would help me.

Your misunderstanding

1. if you combine keeptags with syl, it affects only one syllable following the tag.

2. \t tag's time parameters relative to output line start time, not original karaoke line.
you changed output line start time by retime function, so \t tags do not work as you expect.

1. I see. That's why using the keeptags on template syl never change the kara line

2. Do you mean the "start2syl" (lead-in)?
I really confuse about this color change... X_X

Thank you very much pyointa2001 ^^
:)

--Edit--

Oh yeah, I also want to ask, what if we use a complex lead-in effect like falling character etc. that use template char, will the \t tag we put on the karaoke line still change the color according to the colors we set on it?
I tried using the "template line keeptags" on another effect that use a complex lead-in but the color won't changed to the one I set on the kara line.

I want to ask what should we add to make the color change on this falling char lead-in with a fading from left 2 right lead-out effect.

keeptags with char template has no effect.

template line with keeptags (line16) works, but line 15 overlays it.
you should split line 15 to syl and postline
Code: Select all
Comment: 13,0:00:00.00,0:00:00.00,Default,,0,0,0,template syl noblank,!retime("syl",0,0)!{\an5\pos($scenter,$smiddle)\t(0,!line.duration/2!,\1c&HFFFFFF&\fscx130\fscy130\frz!PAONDE!)}{\t(!line.duration!,!line.duration!,\1c!line.styleref.color1!\blur3\fscx100\fscy100\frz0\1c!line.styleref.color1!\3c!line.styleref.color3!)}
Comment: 0,0:00:00.00,0:00:00.00,Default,,0,0,0,template syl,!retime("postline",0,$si*25)!{\an5\pos($center,$middle)\fad(0,300)}
